I’m super proud to share with your the typographic designs that I made for the new edition of the Jordanian dinar. It’s the ultimate honor for me, truly, to see my letters and calligraphy in everyone’s pocket! It’s a dream that came true, a nationwide dream! That superb opportunity came after the collaboration with the leading Jordanian artist and architect Ammar Khammash, who created the visual design for the 5th edition of the Jordanian banknotes, after years of research and determination, to manifest the tales of Jordan on its paper ambassadors!
I’ll talk soon about the usage of al-Muhaqqaq script in the new designs, as the first time ever to use such a monumental calligraphy style on an Arabic banknote! Also, on the customized typeface that was based on my research on the Umayyad writings and inscriptions in Jordan and Bilad al-Sham.
I believe that Graphic design and National visual identity will be always vital as everything else, they should be treated with care and responsible thinking.

لقد تشرفت بتقديم العديد من التصاميم لمختلف الجهات والأفراد والمشاريع، ولكن هذه المرة غير! شعور آخر.. ومعنىٍ عميق للاعتزاز والفخر..
يسعدني اليوم أن أشارككم تصاميمي الخطيّة للكتابات على الإصدار الجديد للدينار الأردني وللفئات النقدية الورقية الأخرى التي ستصدر لاحقاً، هذا الشرف العظيم بوجود حروف من صنعي في جيب كل مواطن وزائر كان بعد سنوات طويلة من العمل الدؤوب والتفاصيل الفنية والتقنية والوطنية مع المعمار والفنان الأردني عمّار خمّاش، صائغ هذه اللوحة البصرية البهية والتي تحمل سمات الأردن وطناً وتاريخاً وبيئة.
سأتحدث بالتفصيل قريباً عن استخدامي لخط المحقق ربما لأول مرة على ورقة نقدية عربية، وعن جهدي البحثي الذي صدر بتصميمي للخط الطباعي المستوحى من الكتابات والنقوش الأموية العربية في الأردن وبلاد الشام.. وعن السيادة الوطنية في مجالات قد لا تنال الأولوية والأهمية أحياناً كالتصميم الطباعي والصناعة البصرية، ولكنها بأهمية كل شيء مهم!
